Inspired by Buildings

I have often included buildings in my work or developed ideas around the built landscape – doors, windows, facades, town and village scenes. In the past these have featured as ‘Harbour’ pieces based around for example Tobermory Harbour front buildings or waterfront buildings in along the River Ouse in York. The building facades of shops and houses on local streets and those alongside rivers and bridges continue to influence my work.
